  • 2025 Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea with the VSA

    It’s time for the Biggest Morning Tea this Friday & Sujnday ! Amarjit Kaur & The Victorian Sikh Association invite you to our 21st Year of hosting this special event to raise much needed funds & awareness of Cancer so we can fight to reduce the impact of this disease within our community.

    As we know, Cancer is a leading cause of deaths worldwide & we are working hard to create a Cancer free future! So this year we are collecting donations for The Biggest Morning Tea at 2 venues…
    📍On Friday 30th May, we will be at Nanaksar Thath Lynbrook (450 Evans Rd , Lynbrook Vic) from 6.30pm to 8pm.
    📍On Sunday 1st June, you can join us at Gurdwara Blackburn (127 Whitehorse Rd , Blackburn Vic) from 9am to 11.30am.

    The Biggest Morning Tea is an annual event hosted by VSA and Amarjit Kaur.  This year we jointly raised a record amount of over $20,000

    Cancer Councils Biggest Morning Tea 2013

    2013 marks the 20th annual Australian Cancer Councils Morning tea.

    Did you know that 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85.
    Every donation counts towards research and assistance of families and individuals in the struggle against cancer. Donations $2 and over are tax deductible.

    One dollar at a time you are making a difference helping to fund Cancer Council’s vital research, prevention programs and support services.

    $5 – Can help us give a newly diagnosed cancer patient important support and information resources to help them through their cancer journey.

    $10 –     Can help offer free exercise programs to help cancer patients build strength and fitness during and after treatment.

    $25 –     Can help transport cancer patients to and from hospital for treatment.

    $50 –    Can help the Cancer Council Helpline 13 11 20 provide free and confidential information and support on all aspects of cancer.

    $100 – Can help provide free accommodation to cancer patients, their families and carers during treatment.

    $500 –     Can help fund ground-breaking research into new and better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.

    Come enjoy a bite to eat and a cup of tea while assisting in the essential fight against cancer!

    Bring a small plate of food (must be vegetarian) and enjoy a cup of tea
