Code of Conduct and Safety

• Right of Refusal: The VSA committee reserves the right to refuse entry or evict any attendee exhibiting unsportsmanlike, aggressive, or antisocial behaviour.
• Compliance: Attendees must follow all reasonable instructions from VSA Management Committee members, as well as event and venue staff, volunteers, and security present at the event.

• Prohibited Items: No illicit substances, illegal objects, unauthorized fireworks, or glass containers are permitted.

• Smoke-Free Areas: The VSA Clubhouse is a non-smoking and non-vaping venue. Smoking or vaping is prohibited at all times.

• Child Safety: Children under 18 must remain supervised by their parent or guardian at all times.
• Appropriate Footwear: Non-marking footwear is strictly required for any indoor clubhouse games. Moulded boots or runners are required for outdoor grass activities. Please make sure you have the appropriate sporting equipment and personal insurance to cover unforseen injuries.
• Equipment Use: VSA provided equipment must be used safely and only for its intended purpose. Attendees may be held financially liable for willful damage to VSA property.

Liability and Media

• Assumption of Risk: All event attendees enter the venue at their own risk; the VSA  or its representatives are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property. 

• Media Release: Attendees consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional use by the VSA unless they opt out explicitly with event organisers. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify our event organisers immediately on arrival or by sending email 2 business days prior to events.coordinator@victoriansikhs.com.
• Program Alterations: The VSA may alter event times, artists, performers, services, suppliers or activities without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Weather: Outdoor events may be postponed or cancelled due to extreme or unsafe weather conditions without a guaranteed refund.
• Refund Policy: Refund terms prior to an event occurring will be determined on an event by event basis – see event listings. No refunds will be offered after the event, or for non-attendance on the day of the event.
